Central Texas Investment Guide

Title and Escrow
In some states, property title work is handled in one office, and funds escrow is handled by a different company. In Texas, title and escrow services are performed by the same companies, otherwise known as “Title Companies”.
There seem to be one title company for every hill of fire ants in Texas, and most of them seem to be “good enough”. Their fees are set by the State of Texas, so the only way they really compete is based on a notion of better service.
We’ve found that when it comes to title companies, the most important factors are efficiency, responsibility, and will they go the extra mile to get the deal closed?
North American Title Company (aka NATCO), located in Central Austin, led by escrow officer and branch manager Margaret Liebes, handles 90% of Castle Hill Investments transactions.
Margaret is highly experienced, with more than 20 years in the business, and all of her staff have a can-do attitude. We don’t recall any errors in several hundred transactions with Margaret and her team – not to mention they’re a lot of fun!
NATCO’s phone number is 512-302-3892 and address is 5608 Parkcrest #150, Austin, TX 78731.
